There are three important areas to consider when making a website, each one of them playing a major role in the sites success.
The first area is to do with creativity - how the site looks, how it feels, how it is designed. What colours should you use? Where should the menus go? How can you place the information so that the user can find and read it easily?
The second area is to due with the development - how it's built and how it runs. Is your code well optimised and easy to read? Am you coding it in the right way? Can this design be done or is it too complicated?
The last and arguably one of the most important is to do with the marketing of the site. Who is your target audience? Is your content relevant? Have you done proper SEO to ensure people can find it? After all, even if the first two areas are done successfully it will still come to nought of nobody visits your site.
So when you plan to make a website, make sure to make a checklist to make sure that these three things are implemented in your site. Make your website succeed.
